Importing your Data
Step2a - Importing your data from Stacking Plan Software desktop version or Excel
The second step in creating a stacking plan is importing data from an existing stacking plan file from our Stacking Plan Software desktop version or from a pre-populated Excel spreadsheet. If you do not have either of these and wish to create your stacking plan manually, please skip this step and move to Step 2b - Creating and Managing Floors of a Property.
Otherwise, below are the options for importing your existing data:
Stacking Plan Software (SPS file) - From the Data Importing section of your property detail page of your newly created property, you will see an option for importing an SPS file. Click the BROWSE button and locate your existing Stacking Plan Software file. It will have a filename extension of .SPS. Once you have chosen it, simply click UPLOAD. All of your floors and suites will be imported against your property profile. Now proceed to step 4 below to create a new stacking plan per your data.
Microsoft Excel (XLS file) - From the Data Importing section of your property detail page of your newly created property, you will see an option for importing an XLS file. (Your spreadsheet column names must be formatted per this example.) Click the BROWSE button and locate your existing excel spreadsheet. It will have a filename extension of .XLS. Once you have chosen it, simply click UPLOAD. All of your floors and suites will be imported against your property profile. Now proceed to step 4 - Creating and Managing your Stacking Plan, per your data.
