Finding Your Yelp Reviews Page
In your Internet Browser
- Go To www.yelp.com
- Type your Company Name in the Find field
- Type your City, State in the Near field (or if you can use your Current Location)
- Click on the Magnifying Glass Icon to begin the Search
On the Page 1 of your Search
1. Find your Company's Listing
*realize that the first few listings will be paid Ads
2. Confirm that your Company's Information is Correct.
3. Then click on the (a) Profile Picture or the (b) Name Link
**the link below is only an industry keyword and if clicked, it will generate a new modified search based on that keyword
Adding a Shortcut to the Desktop
- Confirm that the Information is Correct for your Company.
- Open the Chrome Settings Menu (represented by three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen)
- Roll over the More Tools option
- Select Add to desktop...
A pop-up will appear giving you the option to change the title of the shortcut that will be placed on your desktop
- It is suggested that you rename this shortcut to be "Google Reviews"
- Then click ADD
Customizing the Shortcut Icon
On your Desktop
- Right-click on the Shortcut Icon
- Select Properties
In the Folder Properties > Shortcut
- Select Change Icon
In the Change Icon Menu
- Click BROWSE
- Find the .icon file you would like to use, then Click on it.
- Once selected, the file name will appear in the file name field
- Then click OPEN
- The Icon thumbnail will update
- Then, click OK
