Getting the Review

Steps outlined to get both a Google & Yelp Review from the Lease Signing Desktop.

A Google Account can be used to log-in to Yelp as well as Google. Therefore, it is best to get the submitter to either sign-in or create a Google Account first. Then, once they have, they can easily fill out and submit their Google Review then roll right into their Yelp Review, reducing the steps involved for them and creating a greater likelihood of getting multiple reviews out of them.

STEPS TO RECIEVE A GOOGLE REVIEW

On the Desktop

  1. Double click on the Google Reviews Shortcut (click here, to learn how to set this up)
  2. Place your cursor in the left column and scroll down
  3. Click the "Write a Review" Link

From the Pop up that appears

1. Click Sign in

2a. The Sign in with your Google Account (you will be asked to log in with your email or phone number, and then you will be prompted to enter in your password).

2b. Or Create a new Google Account*

*Google may send you a text to verify you recently logged in on a new device - please confirm ‘yes’ if this happens

From the Pop-up Screen

  1. Select the Number of Stars you want to give us (rating)
  2. Then write a review as if you are telling a story
  1. Highlight your comments
  2. Right click the mouse*
  3. Select COPY from the pop-up menu
  4. Then click POST to submit the Google Review

* Alternatively, after highlighting your comments, you can select Ctrl + C on the keyboard to copy the text.

STEPS TO RECIEVE A YELP REVIEW

On the Desktop

  1. Double click on the Yelp Reviews Shortcut (click here, to learn how to set this up)
  2. Click the "Write a Review" Link
  3. Select the Number of Stars you want to give (rating)
  4. Then right-click the mouse
  5. Select paste to fill in the review from the copied content on the clipboard
  6. Select Post a Review (this will prompt a sign in pop-up to appear)
  7. Select Sign Up with Google (as the user's Google account is still signed in)

Once posted, Don’t Forget to sign out of the account and promptly remove it from the system

Sign Out & Remove Google Account from Computer

  1. Click on Google Profile Icon (Top Right of Internet Browser Window)
  2. Select, Sign Out
  3. Click on Google Profile Icon
  4. Select the account dropdown
  5. Select, Remove Account
  6. Select the Account to Remove, from List of Available Accounts

DISPLAY FORM

These instructions can be printed out and placed in a plastic display holder, front and back. This works to prepare anyone sitting at the signing table to expect they will be asked to fill out a review and how to do so. The back side can be used to inform anybody the way to sign out and remove an account from the computer.
